This new floating keyboard compliments of the new upgrade totally sucks it needs to go back to the stationary at the bottom of the screen 😡😡😡

If these steps do not restore the static keyboard, then try clearing the app cache for the keyboard. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/ You will need to select to Show System/Samsung apps under Settings>Apps.

Mine started doing the same thing after an update. I have noticed if I touch the pane to type in with my finger the floating keyboard does not pop up then I can use my S-Pen to type with.
