Has anyone noticed on S26+ Android 17 One UI 9 biometric problems?

The fingerprint login will NOT work for apps, after the most recent Samsung/Android update for multiple applications. Is anyone else seeing this kind of behavior?

That’s weird, especially if fingerprint login stopped working across multiple apps right after the update. I’d try restarting the phone and checking if there’s another update available for the affected apps. You could also remove and re-register your fingerprints if the issue keeps happening. Are you still able to unlock the phone with your fingerprint, and is it only the apps that stopped recognizing it?

I'm guessing the newest update is causing issues with multiple apps. And apps only. The login with fingerprint from the OS only works fine.

I've restarted the phone and tried another one of the apps, restarted the app and now it seems like it's working after, removing the biometric login and adding it back.

Another one of my applications just won't work at all with the biometric fingerprint. Even after removing the fingerprint, use and adding it back.

I'm guessing again that something in the os update is not compatible with certain apps.

I've noticed a bit of needing to use a few more taps for my fingerprint to register, but.. also there's been a few times when I have an idea of what might be causing an issue (I'm a dishwasher, which is not exactly conductive to a clean print sometimes).

Wen I try to save my fingerprint its says the fingerprint sensor isn't responding. To restart my fono n try again.. did 5 times n keeps saying da same thing, can someone help me, I have s24 fe.

I am also getting an issue where it says the finger print sensor is not responding. The result is I am unable to remove my fingerprints or add new ones. A factory reset seemed to help for a few days but it is back to acting up. This has stopped all fingerprint functionality. Happening on my S25+ a few days after the UI 9.0 update
