Hello everyone,
Here is a quick follow-up on the fuzzy text, sharpness, and PWM flickering issues I experienced when I first got my Galaxy S26. Long story short: looking at the screen on One UI 8.4 gave me severe eye strain and headaches, and I was actually in the process of returning the phone.
However, after seeing several posts mentioning that the One UI 9 update fixed the blurry text and sharpness issues, I decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, the display problems seem to be completely resolved! I'm keeping the phone for now to test if any eye strain or headaches return over the long term.
My current display settings:
Dark Mode
QHD+ Resolution
Vivid Mode
Eye Comfort Shield (a must for me)
Extra Dim
Reduce Blur
What display settings are you all running? Anything else I should do?
