Hello, I was wondering if the community might have a little bit of insight on this matter
I have a galaxy twenty five plus two fifty six.. during very odd times and very inconvenient times for that matter It asks if I have my phone and that it's going to send my phone a text message. And gives me the hardware profile starting with SM -# but the name of my phone on my account is actually different. Took my time to read. That's the Android name for my phone. But it says some acts like it's two separate phones.
And then I never get the message
Just like a typical t p m that leaves an unfinished sign an attempt that is usually red flagged by the android side, or the samsung side of the software settings of my hardware.
I'm getting used to the term hardware profile, and hope. Somebody gets it. I do not own an iphone. I don't have two different phones. I have a verizon gateway that has a SIM for 5G network, but it's not a phone. I can't receive text messages on it. Nor can receive a phone call on it.
With that being said, when I want to change my password or something comes up. Where I need to change my password. This situation comes up and I have to deal with the shadow hardware or account profiles as if they're 224 different phones. Must dimes, the reality and methodology of only having one device makes it not accessible at that certain time or it's straight up a synchronization issue. My best guess is the Android side of my Samsung phone. It's not communicating with one another. Making it very hard during times i have a glitch on my phone or computer. I could write a book about this, but I'll stop here. And hopefully somebody does recognize the pattern. And can give me some advice.
Thanks again for any helpful advice
And before you answer?
I've been having this issue since I bought an Android phone. So that's a year and a half now
Thank you in advance for any advice. You may have
Nobody's been able to help
Not even when I talk to the people inside the corporate store that sold me the product

Sounds like you may have some malware that is trying to get personal information from you. Samsung phones do not text you asking if you have your phone with you or ask you for codes. This is not behavior from any Samsung app. Can you post a screen shot of what is happening? Also download Good Lock's nice catch from the Galaxy store and turn on "sound history", "toast history" and "detect commercials". This can help you determine which app is sending you these random notifications, so that you can uninstall it.
