Hello,
I have an Odyssey G7 LS28BG700EPXEN connected to a windows 11 pc via DisplayPort running dual monitors, second monitor is a different model.
I use the G7 as my primary monitor and sometimes when I play games on it the monitor will randomly lose signal (only g7 loses signal, 2nd monitor is fine).
The only thing I’ve tried is reconnecting the DisplayPort cable which will sometimes, not always restore the signal, but when it does the screen will be frozen. Along with freezing the screen I also sometimes will hear a looping audio via the speakers.
I’ve tried different DisplayPort cables but the issues persists.
Pls let me know how to fix

I've had this issue on my G7 for months:
- random black screens by losing signal that lasted for 4-5 seconds
- completely dropping the signal with the monitor disconnecting and counting down from 60 seconds - only manually reconnecting the cable brought it to life again.
Firmware was up-to date, tweaked G-sync settings and Windows refresh rates, lower refresh rates resulted in fewer disconnects, but they were still happening. Reached out to Samsung support about it which wasn't very useful.
Finally managed to fix it by installing the Device(Install) driver from Samsung's support download page here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/LS28BG700EPXEN/#downloads
I've not had any disconnects/issues since! Still not sure why it worked, but it solved it for me.
Make sure to navigate to your monitor's exact support page for the download.
