      Hello aleckreyes,

Thanks for reaching out to us here in order to find out if moving photos from your Samsung Galaxy device Gallery to its Secure Folder will have an effect on the pictures on your SD card.

You can add pictures or files to your Secure Folder at any time, even when you aren’t signed in.

      1. Navigate to and open an app with files, such as Gallery.

      2. Tap and hold the file(s) you want to move into Secure Folder.

      3. Tap More and then tap Move to Secure Folder.

      4. The file will be moved and you can view it in Secure Folder.

Note: Files need to be saved in your internal storage or to your SD card to be moved to Secure Folder. Files saved on your Cloud account can’t be moved to Secure Folder.
