I know this is a dated phone but it still works so well. The issue is when I set the do not disturb and it finally turns off all volumes return to present levels (in my case full volumes) except the notification sound which remains at zero. Did Samsung screw this up or what?

      Hi MyVenza,

Thank you for reaching out. It is wonderful to hear that your Galaxy Note 10+ is still performing so beautifully for you! We completely understand how challenging it is when a single software quirk disrupts an otherwise perfect user experience on a device you love and rely on daily. When system can sometimes fail to recall the previous "snapshot" of the notification volume slider.

To help resolve this without disrupting your daily routine, our engineering and support teams highly recommend using the built-in automation engine on your Note 10+ to bypass the glitch entirely.

Bypassing the Issue via Bixby Routines

Because the Note 10+ features robust automation tools, you can set a digital safety net that forces the volume slider to behave exactly as you want it to:

      1. Open your Settings app and navigate to Advanced features.
      2. Tap on Bixby Routines and ensure the toggle is turned On.
      3. Tap the "+" (plus icon) to create a brand-new routine.
      4. Set the "If" condition to Time period and match it to the exact time your morning or awake period begins (when your DND normally turns off).
      5. Set the "Then" condition to Sounds and vibration > Volume, and manually slide the Notification volume to your preferred maximum level.
      6. Save the routine.

This automated rule will run silently in the background, manually pushing your notification volume back up the exact minute your DND ends, entirely overriding the system glitch.

I am still in love with my very first Galaxy phone which was the S10 plus ... I miss having the blood oxygen heart rate sensor on the back of the phone...

And for device that is made In 2019 it's still very snappy and I can get everything done And the only reason why Phones like this continue to work without hassle is because they don't come with all this AI b*** S**T

Another reason to hold on to the phone is that it has expandable storage which needs to be Stronger back onto the new phones as it could really save all your pictures if your phone breaks on the side note it also has headphone Jack so if you forget to charge those headphones you still have the wired option as a backup

Maybe scroll up and read your glazing post about your S10+ where you thought it was still snappy and you can still "get everything done"

Yeah the OP was talking about his Note 10+ but I checked and you were talking about your S10+. All good I've had every flagship Samsung phone since the Note 2. They were all great in their day but the current champ is the S26 Ultra

Ya . . . But all the AI stuff is so annoying . . . So done with AI . . . Can't buy a computer without thinking if the cost will go up next week because of RAM and SSD cost going through the roof

Just wondering if you have the 512GB or 1TB version or did you stick with the typical cell service provider 256GB?

I always go with the 512gb version in order to keep plenty my free disc space no more than 50-60% which helps with performance.
