Anybody had the drama of their camera not working it seems to work in Snapchat and a couple of others programs but nothing else

The actual camera app isn't working? But only on third-party apps like Snapchat?

Try restarting your phone, then clear the cache of the camera app.

Long-press the camera icon > click the "i" icon on the top right > Storage > Clear cache.

You might want to double-check that claim.

Happy to be corrected if you can paste here any proof that clearing the cache deletes the actual data.

Edit: By the way, my original comment/suggestion is about clearing the app cache. So let's stick to that.

Misleading to normal user, they need to be told the specific cache. When you look at caches one is called caches data. If you clear that data is deleted. Please do as I suggested and do the search. I really, really can't be bothered following up further on this. If you want to know more on caches search for "why clear Google Play Services cache" or "what does Google Play Services do" as it identifies an associated process which advises why caches are not always cleared when you think it has been done.

FFS your the camera app has two caches and you don't delineate. Do the reading on Google Play Services as it affects how😂 clearing caches works and that's why I mention it. Data is sometimes identified in a number of apps as cache data

Okay, assuming you are correct (although you haven't posted any single proof yet).

How is clearing the camera app's cache (which is what I'm suggesting) going to delete the gallery's data? Those are two separate apps.

Picture end up in gallery so camera app itself doesn't delete anything since the photos as soon as you shoot are stored in gallery and at the worst case scenario resetting camera app it will delete the PERSONALISED path (not the pictures or personalised folder)where to save the pictures and will reset it to the default path.

On resetting camera app and gallery you lose only your settings nothing else.
Obviously im
talking only about Samsung Camera app and Samsung gallery app not third party app

before and after a data erase of the camera app and you can see the data loss is just settings not pictures

i will check if the camera app(samsung) have all permission on "allow" but is most likely needed a backup of yoi phone and restore the device as new to clear any corrupted file or corrupted settings
