Hello.

I have several Samsung kitchen appliances supporting SmartThings, all connected to the same 2.4Ghz wifi hotspot at home.

I was able to register all the devices with SmartThings, except for the bespoke Smart 39dBA Dishwasher Model DW80R9950US

I tried multiple times to connect it to Smart Things app, reset the appliance and disconnected multiple times to no resolution. I tried plugging the appliance from electric socket for an hour. The app recognizes the dishwasher but fails to connect giving out an error code 06-001 each time.

I tried pressing HiTemp Wash button for 7 seconds to reset wifi, but it doesn't seem to enable Rs mode. I also tried pressing Booster, Delay Start Rinse Only buttons one by one for 7 seconds- no result. There are "AP" symbols displayed for a while and then the dishwasher switches off after 10 minutes or so.

Is anyone else facing the same issue ?

Is there a known resolution ?

thanks in advance

      Hello SeanVik,

Thank you for reaching out to us! We understand how frustrating this situation can be and would be delighted to assist you in getting it resolved. We also want to thank you for outlining the troubleshooting steps you have already taken.

To help us better understand the issue, we would like to gather some additional information.

When the dishwasher displays the "AP" message, are you able to proceed with the next steps to connect the dishwasher?

Have you tried temporarily disabling the 5 GHz band in your router settings or moving farther away from the router during pairing to force a 2.4 GHz connection?

Please note: Most home routers combine the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands into a single network name (SSID), which can sometimes affect the pairing process.

Once we have this information, we will be happy to continue investigating this issue with you.

I verified that only 2.4GHZ network is active on the Hotspot. The 5GHz network is disabled.

The pairing process gets stuck when my Samsung tablet displays "Turn on your dishwasher and hold Smart Control button for 3 seconds" screen, while the dishwasher is turned on and has AP message on.

We appreciate your follow-up, SeanVik and would like to confirm whether this issue also occurs when using the SmartThings app on your mobile device.
