Hi @samdamoon94 thank you for reaching out to the Samsung Community. Receiving notifications is an important part to the watch, so you know you aren't missing anything important. I have a few questions that might help further assist you.
First, are you receiving any notifications at all and only specific ones aren't coming through?
Next, have you checked your notification settings to ensure they are all on and set correctly?
Have you tried restarting your device or any other troubleshooting to try and resolve this?
Did you ever receive any notifications or has this been happening since the first time you turned on the device?
Are you trying to get a sound notification, vibration or display or all of the above?
Please help us out by answering these questions the community may be able to help with these clues as well.
I have the same issue. My notifications are sporadic. Ive checked wrist detection in diagnostics and most times it doesn't detect that I am wearing it. I've turned off wrist detection and still the same result. The watch is not detecting my workouts or anything. Very frustrated
@AP1911 Thank you for verifying those steps have been done. Just out of curiosity do you have any tattoos on your wrist? Tattoos and thick body hair can sometime cause the watch to not register it being on the wrist.
I have a small tattoo on my wrist. However, even when I switch to my other arm without tattoos, my watch still doesn't pick up the fact that I'm wearing it and my arms are not hairy. My old samsung watch didn't have this issue.
@AP1911, thank you for the response. Since you are having issues with both wrists I would look into taking it into a walk in service center or have it sent in for service.
I am putting the link again for the service center locator in case that is something you want to do.
