18 months Samsung has refused to send the patch they had back in May of 2025 to fix the mess their generational 7.0 software downgrade messed up on my s21 phone. I hate everything about 7.0 software. I don't want a software upgrade I want the patch to fix what was completely messed up. Their tech people claim what is still messed up is not a issue. They are full of it Because I don't buy a new phone every year they don't care. I wanted to upgrade in June of 2025 but 7.0 changed that Samsung sucks their software cannot be trusted

it sounds like you've been dealing with a really frustrating experience. however the s21 series completed its 4 generation OS upgrade cycle with android 14 One UI 6.1 The s21 does not recieve One UI 7 platform upgrades. It is on security maintenance only. Samsung doesn't issue standalone hotfix patches from past months separately. All system fixes and patches are rolled into the latest monthly/quarterly security firmware build available in *settings then select software update.*
If your phone developed severe bugs or performance issues after an update, those are almost always caused by corrupt cached system data or app incompatibilities rather than an unreleased patch. Booting into Android recovery to wipe cache partitions or performing a clean backup and factory reset via smart switch often resolves the exact bugs you're describing.
