I went to check voicemail like usual but when I did, it looked different and I am not liking it. I liked the older way when you used the keypad. Is this permanent or can it change back or is it that way for good?

Thank you for you help. I may have had cell phones for years but I am not tech savvy.

Thank you. Is there away to keep to just the voicemail without the visual part, or is here to stay? I ask as when clicking on the voicemail I had to set the visual voicemail, to get my message. This won't hurt anything?

      Thank you for your help

Okay, I did that and I hope it works. Will it still look like the photo even if I don't use it?

Sorry for the trouble. Thank you once again for your help.

Okay, I'll have to wait for a new voicemail message to see if I did something wrong.

      Thank you for your help.

Okay, that may not happen as it's through my aunt. Would disabling it be safe?

Thank you for your help and patience. Have a wonderful night.

I think I am confusing myself as I went to voicemail visual app and it won't let me disable it.

In the 'App Info' screen is a way (usually) to turn off ALL notifications.

And even if they're left on, just dialing 1 from the phone app should just let you get your voicemail without going through visual voicemail (but clicking on the notification will likely bring it up instead).2LX9HLSFZu.png

The app will still be there, your messages will show there until you delete them (if you set up your voicemail), but you do not have to use the app.  If you turn off notifications for the app, you will still get notifications for your regular voicemail and will still be able to access your voicemailbox from either the notification (long press the notification) or via long pressing the #1 on your dialpad.  I don't know why you wouldn't want visual voicemail, it makes it easy to listen to your messages in the order you want to listen to them, so if you get several spam messages, you don't have to cycle through them to get to your real messages. It also makes it easy to set up and change your recording on your voicemail.  The VVM app  is only a mirror of what is actually in your voicemailbox and eliminating or not using visual voicemail will not affect your normal voicemail.
