I for the love of God cannot understand why you would send an update through that rearranges my user interface! I personally know how I want my setup! I have the muscle memory to know exactly when I'm not looking at my phone where I need to click to do what I need to do. But some twit in a computer lab somewhere decides that you need to change my user interface. Ban me if you want but I swear to God, you use no thought for the consumer at all. And feel free to insert a bunch of expletives throughout my comment.

The Google search and Finder widgets that were added to your screen?
Pinch in on your home screen, tap on settings, scroll down to show search on Home Screen, open it and toggle it off.
I get it, some people don't like change. Usually there is a way to reverse what they do.

If you use Home up and have the home screen backup on, you can restore your layout after turning off the search bar. I assume you mean that your home screen got out of whack because the search moved things. When an update messes with your arrangement, there is usually a simple way to put things back in order. How much work you have to do at it depends on what settings you had on before the update. No home up/home screen backup, manual rearrangement would be necessary, or removing the search bar may revert the changes. You can also just simply turn off the search and finder bars and restore only your home screen settings from your cloud backup.
