Has anyone received the official update for the Gallery app that switches the back up from Onedrive to Google? I was on One UI 9 beta till yesterday and was hoping the app would update before tomorrow's end of One drive backup.

Hang on, I'm on a more recent version and it still is on OneDrive. What's up with that?

I updated using the APK and there is no setting for syncing to Google

It might be triggered by One UI 9. If so, that's just dumb because the 9/30 deadline is hard & fast.

EDIT: It appears to be a server-side switch. Not everyone will get it at the same time.

Switching from apple. Only thing I miss is the perfection of apples photos/gallery app syncing directly to the cloud. Periodically have to delete gallery app content. Then some apps will not let you grab pic from Google photos. I heard if have pixel google photos is default app so works that way. Why cant samsung let me change gallery default app to Google photos?
