Expert Raw Lab features only allowing 12M resolution

I just purchased the s2 Ultra. I'm setting the camera up primarily for photos, not video. I'm a semi-pro shooter and digital artist. I will be shooting ONLY RAW images. I have the Expert RAW app installed.
I'm testing the features of the lab. The virtual aperture and ND features will be used often for my work, however, every time I try to use the 50m resolution, these features turn OFF and the camera goes back to the lowest 12m resolution.
Is this correct? I can only use expert features and set my aperture if I capture a 12m images? Sort of defeats the purpose of a 200, 50 and 24m camera for a pro if you can't use the pro features accept with a 12m image.
I've watch 10 or more videos on YouTube and can't seem to find the answer.

So.. no responses yet, Anyone? Must I shoot in only 12m if I want to use the virtual aperture or ND filter or other pro features in the Expert Raw LAB features? gptChat said that only the astro features require the 12m but my phone defaults me back to 12m for ALL the LAB features? Are those using virtual aperture getting the same experience or can you shoot in 24m or 50m with the virtual aperture. Should I return this phone as defective?
