If you haven't downloaded it, yet, DO NOT update to UI 9. They decided to change unnecessary things like clock formatting to lock you into formats that don't work or make sense. A leading zero should only be used on a 24 hr clock; why at 5pm does my clock have a leading zero? Then, when I go to change the format to one without a leading zero, I have to completely change the style of clock on my lock screen. The home screen clock is the same! Left-aligned and no good formatting options. But don't worry! If you want more AI, they made sure to insert it everywhere 🙄

Unable to connect to home wifi, notifications sound like numbers being dialed. AI is bogus

On modern Samsung devices running One UI, system updates cannot be permanently blocked or disabled indefinitely through normal settings.

While you can postpone them temporary or toggle off "Auto download over Wi-Fi," Samsung and cellular carriers will eventually force the update to install after a certain number of delays or days. This policy is primarily enforced to maintain device security, patch critical vulnerabilities, and ensure network compatibility.
