I'm about at my wits end. I've encountered a peculiar problem where, while on mobile data, theres a very strong chance I will not receive any notifications for any of my messaging apps (Discord, Facebook Messenger). New messages will still populate when I check these apps, although my mobile data also seems to be quite poor, so much so that I straight up sometimes cannot connect to the apps until I reboot my phone. this is an issue I have ONLY on mobile data and I've done everything I can reasonably think short of a factory reset (not an option for me). I'm on ATT so I dunno if it's them but when I contacted them they said everything is fine, so I can only assume that something has gone wrong with my actual mobile data connection, or something broke within my phone. Any help is appreciated.

Have you reset mobile network settings? It's under settings > general management > reset.

Also check to make sure you have push notifications turned on for those apps. It may be called something else in each app, but messaging apps generally have a setting for that.

Have you explored the possibility of booting into Safe Mode to determine if a third-party application is the source of the issue?

I'm unsure of how I would do this. How do I?

      Go to your Power Menu
      Long-press the Power Off Button
      Click Safe Mode

Once it boots in Safe Mode, see if you have the same issue.
