My battery seems to be overheating. I try putting the phone in front of a fan and not using it but the back of my phone is still very hot. Any suggestions? I have a S25+

Usually this happens because an app is using a decent amount of the processor processes even though the app is supposed to be running in the background in a low power state. If you go to Settings > Battery Then see what apps are using the majority of your battery since the last time you charged it up. Inside of the battery screen you can click view details and it will have dates at the top (calendar) from there you can look through the different days and see what apps are consistently using battery life. If you find any apps you arent actively using a lot but is consistently in the list. Then you can manually deal with that app. Also make sure in the battery screen under Background usage limits. That you have the feature Put unused apps to sleep. Should be a toggle to turn that on in that section. Also would suggest having the screen display turn off after 30 seconds of not touching the screen.

It may be the result of an update. Normally a partition cache clear would be a good way to address the issue, but Samsung took away that feature. It could also be a battery issue. Send it back if under warranty.
