My S24+ updated at bedtime. Next morning the phone locked and required a PW. Never happened with any previous updates. Tried every PW past & present + variations. Still can't access the phone. Help!

Sorry, your only option is to do a factory reset, which will erase all of your data on the phone. In order to do so, you will need the Google email and Samsung email accounts and passwords that were originally used when you first set up the phone. If you don't have both, the phone will be forever locked.
