So it seems everytime a notification comes down or when I change the volume during video playback, the screen will turn up contrast, but then switch right back when volume display or notification goes away. Started right after this most recent 8.5 update.

Hello @MiamiV14, thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding the issue that you are having with the contrast in the display. I understand how this can inconvenience your viewing experience. The change happens when a video is being played in HDR.
There are a few things that you can do to resolve the issue. First you can turn off the Video Brightness, to do this go to Settings, scroll down to Display, then Video Brightness, and select normal. You can also turn off the Video Enhancer. Go to the Settings, Advanced Features, and then turn off Video Enhancer. After changing these settings restart the phone. Samsung: Why are you telling customers to change settings after an update when this didn't happen before? Why are the consumers CONSTANTLY being told to fix it, change things or settings after your company sends out a rushed update that makes their $1000 phones work worse than before ? Why don't you send out a solution instead of telling millions of users they need to grin and bear it? Please answer me this

I'm having the exact same issue on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra!!! Even after turning off Super HDR and verifying the video brightness is set to normal. After restart the change in contrast still happens whenever turning up or down the volume while watching a video.
