Just got the 9.0 update and so far I'm not impressed. The Brightness and volume icons are absolutely enormous and gaudy. I like the layout, but I'd rather it didn't take over half the panel
Yes, everything is customizable. Unfortunately, the sliders for brightness and sound cannot be made thinner as it was in previous iterations. I would like to be able to make them pencil thin again.
I don't see any reason to have the brightness or volume slider on the control panel, since there are side volume buttons and I rarely change the brightness from the level I have it set at (if I need to, I know where to find the setting). Right now I keep them there, but after I get the update, I might decide to just take them off, as I've never controlled either from that panel. Even though they are ugly and there was no reason to change the design, I don't spend a whole lot of time looking at the control panel anyway, so it would be a momentary distraction, at best.
That's for you. If you don't use them, I'm unsure on why you commented. I made the post because I use them frequently 🤔 yes the option to remove it is there, but the option to modify if you want should also be there without having to make it look like an iPhone
