Kinda disappointed of the camera.... , when comparing to A36, I found that S24+ photo size is extremely small. And when I zoom in photo, I can't zoom in as much as on A36. And the photos are quite a lot of noise and kinda overexposed on S24+.

Is Samsung Flagship always like this or is there any solution to make the photos taken from S24+ less noise, lesser overexposed, and make the photos size bigger?

Night photos generally better on A36, first attempt on A36 12MP, still can better than 10 times attempt on S24+ either 50MP or 12MP

For a flagship phone. Yes the S24+ camera is a joke in my experience as well. Videos are decent, but the camera is similar to a $150-$200 Motorola.

Hello @clevend. Welcome to the Samsung Community & thanks for posting about this! We hear your frustration regarding the Galaxy S24+ camera performance, especially when comparing it to a mid-range device. A flagship phone should deliver premium results out of the box, and we want to help you get the sharp, balanced images your device is capable of producing. Please try these quick troubleshooting steps to improve your photo quality:

Lower the processing: Open Camera Settings > Advanced intelligence options > change quality optimization to Medium to reduce over processing and digital noise.
Fix overexposure: Download the Camera Assistant app from the Galaxy Store and toggle Auto HDR to Off.
Check resolution: Ensure you switch between 12MP for low-light/zoom and 50MP for high-detail daytime shots using the ratio icon at the top of the viewfinder.
Use Night Mode: For evening shots, manually select Night Mode under the "More" tab and hold the phone steady for 2–3 seconds.
Feel free to peek at this guide for more camera app help.
Give these steps a try and let us know the results, so we can assist you further if needed!
