I just recently updated to the latest version for August 1st and since doing so I've had issues with my home screen. If I select on a folder I'm not able to resize it, somehow I am missing an entire folder, I had widget shortcuts on my home screen and they have disappeared and I can't make a sticker to open a certain app because the DIY icon that is usually available when I long press on the home screen is not there. There are other issues am I the only one and does anybody know how to fix some of these issues? Also some of the widgets do not work like the battery widget.

I actually didn't have that available on my screen I actually figured out I had to do a previous restore that was through good lock in the home up section. Thanks for your help anyway.

A Play system update would not cause/affect the things you've identified.

For your DIY issue, go into Home Up and make sure DIY Home is toggled.

You can try clearing the app's cache: open device settings (cogwheel icon)>apps>Google Play Services>storage>clear cache/data>force stop>restart phone. You can also tap on the 3 stacked dots in the upper right hand corner which will give you the option to "Uninstall Updates".

      Hello userYTFM7vywu8,

Welcome to the community. We understand how frustrating this is and would be glad to assist. In addition to the suggestions offered by @Belaythatorder, we have a couple questions that will help us navigate through troubleshooting.

After the update, have you powered off and restarted your device?

Have you attempted to boot your device into safe mode ? This will help determine if a third-party app could be the cause.

Let us know if the situation continues
