My ear buds Auto connect when not in use or charging nearby. The phone will Auto connect instantly and I have to constantly disconnect it manually in settings. How do I turn off the Bluetooth auto connect so I can manually connect without having to unpair and pair when I want to use the ear buds.

Keep your ear buds in their case to disconnect from Auto Connect, and once you take them out of the case, they automatically reconnect.

Hello @Techsuxs and welcome to the Samsung Community!
We completely understand how frustrating it is when your earbuds seamlessly pair on their own when they are sitting nearby, forcing you to keep turning them off.

An excellent alternative to managing this is adding a dedicated Modes and Routines widget directly to your home screen or utilizing your Quick Settings layout for instant control:

      1. Set up the Routine: Open your Settings, tap Modes and Routines, and choose the plus sign (+).

      2. Create a Manual Trigger: In the "If" section, choose Start manually.

      3. Turn Bluetooth Off: In the "Then" section, go to Connections, tap Bluetooth, and select Off.

      4. Add to Home Screen: Save the routine and name it something clear, like "Block Earbuds." When prompted, choose the option to add it directly to your home screen as a widget toggle. You can also access it easily from your Quick Settings panel by adding the Routines toggle to your top layout.
Whenever your earbuds connect unprompted, one tap on this custom toggle will immediately turn off Bluetooth to disconnect them, giving you complete manual mastery over when they link up.

For more helpful layout tips, you can check out the official Samsung "Use Modes and Routines" Troubleshooting Guide.

Please let us know if this feature works for you or if you need any further assistance!
