Ok, this has happened twice now, but the first incident: I had just got off the phone talking with the wife while sitting in the car and at 16% battery, the phone just shut off. Powered down normally. I hooked the charger to it while on my way home, which takes about 15 minutes. Tried powering it on and still said 0% battery. Then the screen flashed green a couple times and I noticed lines going across only when it flashed green. Then a circle with a lightning bolt comes on the screen with 0% underneath it. Got in the house, held all buttons down, screen turns blue with directions how to force reboot. Followed those directions, phone came on, rebooted but still said 0%. Put on charge, charged to 100% and was fine til it repeated today while on phone with my son. Battery health says its healthy so I have no idea what is wrong. Please help!!

Hi @TheCursed. Welcome to the Samsung Community! Wow, that is definitely bizarre behavior for a Galaxy S24. It sounds like your phone might be miscalculating its battery life, or experiencing a software glitch causing those green lines.
Let’s walk through a few troubleshooting steps to get your device back on track:

Force a hard reboot: Next time it freezes, hold the Volume Down + Power buttons together for 10 seconds until it vibrates.

      Calibrate the battery:
Let the phone drain completely to 0%, then plug it into a wall outlet and charge it to 100% without using it.

      Test in Safe Mode
: Power off completely. Hold the Power button until the logo appears, then immediately switch to holding the Volume Down button until it finishes restarting. This disables third-party apps to see if one is causing the green lines. You can find a detailed guide to booting your device into Safe Mode here.

      Send an error report
: If it happens again, open the Samsung Members app, tap Support, and send an error report so our tech team can check the system logs.

If the problem persists, please let us know a few details so we can narrow it down:

Did the green lines disappear completely once the phone booted into Safe Mode?

Are you currently using an official Samsung charging brick and cable?

Did this behavior start right after a specific app installation or a system update?
We look forward to your response!

Warranty claim or insurance imo. Not worth waiting to hear back from anyone here tbh.

It was my first post. Definitely to short. Most forums will only provide basic diagnostics tools as suggestions. There's not much the community can do nowadays and after 2012 and everyone getting plagiarized like my pixel product line led to people listening to my advice of creating APIs and similar and working for yourself instead of losing trillions in one software series of concepts.

My guess is battery issue if no other issues I would take to a repair center to get checked

Figured diagnostics would be something someone would suggest. But literally this might be a warranty claim before anything else and tech support can use the diagnostics logs to produce results. Contact Samsung support

The screen digitizer might not be connected properly (loose cable connection),you said you replaced the screen twice already, so it's not original. I had the same problem before and found out it was loose wire.

Also it's only done it one time since the writing of this post. But no green lines like before and I didn't have to reboot this time. Hooked y to the charger, waiting 15 minutes or so and turned it right on
