Software Update

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about doing next but it just didn't seem like that could be it since you can update over Cellular, Wi-Fi and/or both. I have it set to Wi-Fi only but I guess I'll try that quick and see if that makes a difference.

They give the updates through the mobile carriers, but you can still download it over Wi-Fi. I'm glad I was able to help.

The "Wipe Cache Partition" functionality has been largely phased out.

Other Android manufacturers removed this menu option several years ago, and Samsung recently followed suit, beginning with their February 2026 security patches.

That's exactly what it was 🙄😂 But you would figure if your device was a few updates past due, it would automatically just download & install the most current version but apparently that's not how it works 😂 I literally had to sit there, download & install every security patch & One UI update until it was "Up to date" 🤦🏻‍♂️😭
