I have been a long-time Samsung purchaser of many of their products, but when it comes to their mobile devices, I have really lost a lot of respect for Samsung.
Right now, I am still using my S22U, which, by the way, still takes outstanding photos in my opinion and is still running smoothly; however, after the last system update, while still being on 8.0 (which S22U users were told we would get 8.5, but they cut us out), the battery has absolutely diminished. I have also had to stop notifications on 85% if not more of my installed apps, plus use dark mode. Those option changes have helped me out tremendously.
My major point is I felt there was no need to spend $1,500+ for such little updates, so here we are. The S27U is finally here, which for me will be a huge update and upgrade. I absolutely hate the device's body. Why, Samsung, did you do that? I hope I like it in my hands; otherwise, it is going to be time for me to switch manufacturers. I am thinking Google or OnePlus, but right now I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am not a huge gamer, but if I did want to, I want the option to be there.

Thanks for replying to my post. I was really thinking about getting the S26U, especially if I fail to like the S27 Ultra or Pro model.
The Pixel XL has always caught my attention.
It seems Google is constantly breaking app features so that's what's holding me back on grabbing a Pixel. BUT ,I was playing with my brothers Pixel 9 and it's a nice clean interface and ran still smoothly. I appreciate your input. Thank you for your imput.
