Ok so i dropped my phone from like a 3ft height (with case) and all of a sudden it's not reading my sim card. I checked and the sim card itself isn't the problem, it's the phone.

Keep in mind that this phone is refurbished so I suspect something wasn't soldered in well or something.

Is there any way to fix this? If not I'll just switch to an electronic sim.

@sjsus Unfortunately dropping the phone can cause internal damage like cracked circuit board, broken solder connections, dislodged components, etc. You would need to have it evaluated by Samsung support.

Just my thought a screen protector is a flimsy plastic which does little to prevent damage from a drop or fall

Would depend on case some are better than others but regardless damage still can occur
