You should have a rough idea about how much time you have left by the percentage of battery remaining. As a general rule, you likely have 4-5 hours when it hits 30% (less if you use it heavily during that time), so you should aim to put it on a charger at between 30 - 15%. It is not good for your battery for you to continually let it completely discharge, and it does take longer to charge when it does go to 0%. You will have a better idea of exactly how much time you have left under your usage patterns, when the learning process is complete. How is an old phone still learning your usage patterns? Did you recently reset your phone?
