I updated it early today before reading how invasive it is.
Can I undo it?
Is it necessary to my phones functioning?

I am willing to bet those "users" are all very uninformed as this is a common misconception. The whole Knox system provides essential security to your phone to keep it from getting hacked or you losing your private data. I would suggest doing a little bit more thorough research to see just how valuable it is for you and your phone.

Do a force stop on the app and see what happens to your phone. Then you will change your mind

      Hi Suz1st 🙂
Thank you for coming to the Samsung community with your inquiry. This is a great question!
Samsung literally branded the platform after Fort Knox because the entire design philosophy was to build an impenetrable digital vault around personal data. It is not an invasive app or anything of the sort. Knox is built into their devices to protect our cryptographic keys, biometric data, Samsung pass and lock screen credentials from physical and kernel level attacks. Knox's job is to ensure the operating system hasnt been tampered with or injected with malicious root kits. If someone tries to modify system binaries maliciously the hardware fuse flips and cuts off access to all of your sensitive data i.e. financial and biometric memory.
You can rest assured knowing that is what keeps your device safe 😊

Depending on your budget, Samsung is rumored to make an S27 Pro they will release in the first quarter of 2027. It's rumored size is 6.47 inches compared to the S21FE's size. That is screen size actuall size should be almost exactly the same due to the bezels being bigger on your FE.

Typically like what I buy to get strong endorsements 1st.
The pro model would be untested & no doubt more expensive. I will need to get Spectrum wi-fi internet soon . Wondering if they might have offer w newer Samsung phone

You can wait until the new S7 series is released and see what kind of deal you can get with Spectrum. Then run on Verizon towers.
