Hello Samsung Community!
I'm currently using a Galaxy S26, and I wanted to share an idea for improving the Always On Display.
I've always been a huge weather enthusiast, and one thing I would absolutely love is the ability to have a more weather-focused Always On Display. For example, being able to see the current temperature, weather conditions, high and low temperatures, chance of precipitation, and perhaps even a short forecast without having to unlock my phone.
I recently discovered the ClockFace module in Good Lock, and I love the amount of customization it offers. However, something I think would make it even better is the ability to create multiple Always On Display designs and automatically switch between them depending on the time of day.
For example, from 6 AM to 10 AM, I might want a weather-focused display showing the day's forecast. From 10 AM onward, I might prefer a simpler clock with the current temperature. Then, in the evening, I could switch to another design showing overnight weather conditions.
I think integrating this functionality into Modes and Routines would be a fantastic addition. I've looked through the existing routine options, and while I can change when the Always On Display appears, I haven't found a way to automatically switch between different ClockFace designs.
Even if scheduled switching isn't possible, I'd still love to see more weather-related customization options for the Always On Display.
I know I'm a bit of a weather nerd, but I imagine plenty of other Galaxy users would enjoy being able to customize what information their Always On Display shows throughout the day, whether that's weather, calendar information, or something else entirely.
I'd love to see Samsung consider something like this in a future One UI update.
Thanks for taking the time to read my suggestion!
