I've received the above message, but my phone had its last os update 3 years ago and is apparently up to date. So, how do I know the above is genuine...?
That's not an os update, that'll be some settings change probably from your sim. Your mobile provider might be doing something that needs a change on your phone to work correctly.
Seems to match this on mine. Not exactly the same but we'll be on very different versions of one ui
The same style of icon is also used for the system intelligence service (which you probably won't have, just showing it's a trend with samsung and that sorta icon)
I also believe I've seen that icon when setting up a brand new phone
