I recently upgraded my Samsung Note 20 for S24 (woohoo!!!) .... silly me thought I turned off the PIN when I put the Note20 in the drawer but I didn't.

I've been trying to get in it but can't remember the PIN 😭😭 Is there a way around this? A factory reset is a no as I'm trying to retrieve some photos/videos.

What can I do?

      If you've lost the pin...

There used to be a way that you could unlock from your Samsung account so try that first.

If that isn't an option then you'll have to Factory Data Reset the device.

Re the photos and videos, did you have a backup such as Google or One Drive?

I don't remember if I did back them up or not as I don't do it on all my phones.

I don't have Find my Mobile enabled. It's not looking good 😞

Your welcome. Usually your phones backups data automatically i think once a week.

Since i received February security update yesterday they have removed the feature wipe cache partition .When I boot into recovery mode it only shows wipe data and factory reset. Apparently samsung removed this feature.

Yes if you haven't updated your phonr then its still there. But i will miss that feature as I like to wipe cache partition after updates. 😔
