HOMESCREEN LAYOUT

Objectively, Home and App Screen is a lot better. We can choose which apps are on the homescreen and the rest will be in the App Drawer/Screen, providing a cleaner and efficient setup. Plus, with less icons in the home screen, there's space for widgets.

By default, Home and App Screen is great. Samsung did a good job choosing the right widgets and icons. A lot of people don't even bother arranging the icons and widgets.

For Home Screen only, it's great if you like to have all the apps to be in one screen but it does look cluttered. The default arrangement of the icons are not that good. But arranging them in a way that is clean and appealing to look at, you might end up with a homescreen like the image attached to this comment.

Home and App screen for me with an Edge Panel. Current arrangement prior to One UI 4 download in the attached images. I might change my layout to lessen taps and swipes once I'm done checking all the changes in the recent software upgrade.

Homescreen only makes it simple😉

Homescreen and App Screen! Though I like my setup to be minimal, I still prefer going to the App Screen to go to my apps.
