U can increase touch sensitivity and register ur finger 2 or even 3 times and it will reduce the issue to a certain extent.
If your finger isn't detected at all, u need to reinstall the uv glass in a special way. This solves most of the issues.
The UV glue itself needs to be of good quality to work with fingerprints. I did a lot of research before buying one myself. Anyway please ask if u have further questions. Trust me I've been where u are... but u can get it back to near normal.
