After installing the latest One UI 9 Beta update, I started experiencing severe touch sensitivity issues on my device. The touchscreen has become unusually sensitive, making it difficult to use the phone normally.

The issue is particularly noticeable in the following situations:

  • Keyboard: When typing a single letter, the keyboard sometimes registers multiple characters unexpectedly, making fast typing extremely difficult.
  • Scrolling: Unintended and abnormal touch inputs occur while scrolling, resulting in unpredictable screen behavior.
  • Accidental touches: Even after enabling Accidental touch protection and disabling Increase touch sensitivity, the problem persists.

This issue is significantly affecting the overall user experience and making basic tasks such as typing, scrolling, and navigating the phone frustrating.

Since this problem started immediately after the One UI 9 Beta update, it may be related to a software bug in the current beta version.

Please investigate this issue and release a fix in the upcoming beta update. Touchscreen responsiveness should be stable and accurate, without registering unintended touches or multiple keystrokes.

I request the development team to prioritize this issue, as it is severely affecting the device's everyday usability.

Device: Samsung Galaxy A16
Software: One UI 9 Beta
