Hello Carrotman,
We understand that when you connected your Galaxy S20 to your TV, it launched Smart View instead of Samsung DeX.
To switch to DeX mode, please follow these steps:
Swipe down from the top of your phone screen to open the Quick Settings panel.
Tap on the notification that says Samsung DeX to switch from phone mirroring (Smart View) to desktop mode.
If you would like to use your phone as a trackpad, swipe down again and select the notification that allows you to use your phone as a touchpad.
