Hi ProductivePointAvila,
Lockdown Mode is an advanced, one-time privacy feature on your Samsung Galaxy A17 5G designed to instantly secure your phone if you feel it might be accessed without your permission.
When activated from your power menu, it immediately disables fingerprint and face recognition, requiring your secure PIN, Password, or Pattern to unlock. This prevents anyone from unlocking your phone using your biometrics while you are asleep or incapacitated. Additionally, it hides all lock screen notifications and temporarily overrides Smart Lock features.
Once you manually enter your PIN or password, the mode automatically turns off and restores your normal settings. To enable this option, navigate to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Secure lock settings and toggle on Show Lockdown option. Afterward, you can activate it anytime by holding the power button and selecting "Lockdown."

Lockdown Mode is used for extra security.
It disables Biometrics, Clears Notifications and prevents USB connections.
You will need to use your PIN, Password or Pattern to unlock the phone.
