Hi all,
After the 9.0 update, phone become soulless, too slow, input lag, and ghost inputs. Sometimes I swipe right, but it swipes left.
I checked the input display and found the eror. Somehow, my swipe (a blue line) end with red in reverse direction. Whenever that occurs, the swipe is not committed or done in reverse.
I guess the input lag caused by same issue. I tried to take ss but it does now show those lines in ss.

Hi Afebe,
We are very sorry to hear that your device feels slow and is experiencing severe input lag and ghost inputs after the One UI 9.0 update. The lines you see in Developer Options confirm that the touchscreen driver is experiencing a "snapback" or latency glitch, misinterpreting the lift of your finger as a reverse swipe.
To fix this calibration and touch handling issue, we recommend trying these steps:
1. Adjust Touch Settings:
• Toggle Sensitivity: Go to Settings > Display and turn Touch sensitivity off or on to force the screen digitizer to recalibrate.
• Pointer Speed: Go to Settings > General Management > Mouse and trackpad and lower the Pointer speed slightly to reduce tracking latency.
2. Clear System UI Cache:
• Go to Settings > Apps > tap the filter icon next to "Your apps" and toggle on Show system apps.
• Search for System UI, go to Storage, and tap Clear Cache.
If the input lag continues, please use a secondary device to record a quick video of the lines. Then, open the Samsung Members app > Support > Error Reports > Sensors/Touch, attach the video with your system logs, and submit it directly to our engineering team for review.

Just to confirm, Did you perform the steps mentioned above by moderator?
If the concern still persists, we request you to raise an error report directly through the Samsung Members app. Sending this report allows our engineers to analyze the system logs from both devices and identify the root cause.
Additionally, please use a secondary device to record a quick video of the lines, as visual evidence is incredibly helpful for our diagnosis.
Open the Samsung Members app > Support > Error Reports > Sensors/Touch, attach the video with your system logs, and submit it directly to our engineering team for review.

Same issues on a Galaxy S23. Typing text is extremely difficult due to touch input failures. The screen frequently fails to register touches, and there are ghost touches. The overall user experience is truly frustrating and disappointing.

We understand how essential a responsive screen is to your daily usage, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment this has caused.
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
• Remove Screen Protectors: Third-party or improperly aligned protectors can severely interfere with touch sensitivity.
• Toggle Touch Sensitivity: Go to Settings > Display and turn on Touch Sensitivity to increase screen responsiveness.
• Run a Diagnostics Test: Open the Samsung Members app, go to Support > Phone Diagnostics, and select Touch Screen to check for underlying hardware faults.
• Update Software: Ensure your device is running the latest software version by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
