I used to be able to use bluetooth mouses or bluetooth keyboards with touch pad perfectly before One UI 9.

Now my devices still connect, but the scroll wheel on the mouse or trying to scroll up or down with the touch pad is extremely erratic.

Either it goes all the way down or it scroll down a bit and jumps back all the way to the top.

Samsung, please provide a fix for this

What's the point of having DEX anymore when smart devices connected can't even work properly?

I've tried 3 differents mouses and 2 different keyboards with touchpads.

All worked properly before One UI 9 update and they all work properly with all my other devices too.

One UI 9 really ruined the user experience.

Apparently this is a known issue with One UI V9.0, which I haven't encountered, because I don't use a mouse etc.

You can try this work arounds?

A display conflict in One UI 9 causes the phone to mistake scrolling motions for screen-tapping gestures. Turning this accessibility shortcut off has fixed erratic scrolling for some?

See if that works for you?

Since it is a known issue, hopefully Samsung will fix it in the next update?

While our developers work on a solution, we recommend trying these system adjustments to see if they offer temporary relief:

      • Reset Pointer Speed: Navigate to Settings > General Management > Mouse and trackpad. Try adjusting the Pointer speed and Wheel scrolling speed slightly to force the system to reset its cursor parameters.
      • Clear Bluetooth Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Filter/Sort (toggle system apps to on) > Bluetooth > Storage > Clear Cache. Afterward, unpair your peripherals, restart your phone, and reconnect them.

We apologize for the disruption this has caused to your user experience. Your detailed feedback is incredibly valuable to us as we work to resolve this in an upcoming software optimization update.

Since updating my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra from One UI 8.5 to One UI 9, I've noticed a strange touch recognition issue whenever the Magnifier shortcut (triple tap) is enabled. Gestures don't seem to work as they should. For example, a small movement of my finger downward can be interpreted as an upward movement, and sometimes the screen doesn't respond to my touch at all. Other gestures can also behave unpredictably, making the phone frustrating and difficult to use.

I've tested this several times and confirmed that the problem disappears as soon as I disable the triple-tap shortcut. I never experienced this issue on One UI 8.5, so it seems to have started with the One UI 9 update.

Because of my significant visual impairment, I rely on this accessibility feature every day. I shouldn't have to choose between using a feature I need and having normal touch functionality.

Please investigate this issue with touch recognition and gesture interpretation in One UI 9 and provide a fix that allows me to keep Magnifier enabled without affecting the way the touchscreen responds.

As previously discussed, it is an apparently known issue with Accessibility.

As you need to use it, you'll have to wait for the next update, which will hopefully fix the problem.

If you can manage without it, go to Settings > Accessibility and Toggle Off the triple tap option.

UI 9 has caused much App pain. I hope it be recalled so we can all get on with our lives! the keyboard covers everything I type. Anyone else having this bad experience and know a solution?
