While Bluetooth functionality in the S Pen may not matter to every user, the remote camera shutter is an essential feature for many of us who rely on it for group photos. I held off upgrading to the S26 Ultra specifically because this was missing. Please bring it back for the S27 Ultra -even as an optional add-on-as dropping it entirely takes away a core Ultra feature.

They mastered the whole idea of the stylus and made it super useful and should return to that approach.
If you have a Galaxy Watch Ultra (or maybe any Galaxy Watch) you can use it for remote camera controls.
The funniest part about seeing this post is how I was just using that and thought, "that's cool, I wonder if the S-Pen still does this?"
Now I have the answer.

The world is moving to using their voice for even typing, which is not necessarily good.
I speculate that is affecting the S-Pen because the AI on Galaxy devices works too good. People are probably saying "hey whoever, snap a shot" from a distance.
I do not want to talk to my phone. I want to type and write my AI prompts, not verbally announce the commands.
That's why Apple has a stylus now. Because their AI is somewhat irrelevant. 🙏

Bring Back the bluetooth S Pen. It is useless without bluetooth and might as well get rid of it. Having the bluetooth S Pen makes it standout against the Iphone.
