I think at this point, I need help setting up my S24 Ultra camera so I can take nice pictures without them looking dull. After seeing the pictures people post in this community, I keep wondering if we’re all using Samsung or if some people are using a different device. #photo #pro #pro video

Hi A4109,
We completely understand how inconvenient it can be when your photos do not turn out quite as vibrant or stunning as you expected, especially when you see the incredible shots other community members are able to capture. We are here to guide you through some optimal settings and tips to help you get the absolute best out of your Galaxy S24 Ultra camera.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a powerful professional-grade camera system, and sometimes a few simple adjustments to your settings can make a world of difference in bringing your photos to life:
1. Optimize Intelligent Optimization Settings:
Open your Camera app, tap the Settings gear icon in the top corner, and check your Intelligent optimization setting. Setting this to Medium or Maximum can significantly improve clarity, sharpness, and dynamic range in everyday shots.
2. Utilize Expert RAW or Pro Mode:
Since you mentioned an interest in pro features, try downloading the Expert RAW app (available via the Galaxy Store). It gives you complete creative control over ISO, shutter speed, and white balance, allowing you to edit photos for rich, vibrant details.
3. Turn on Scene Optimizer and Auto HDR:
Ensure these features are enabled in your camera settings. They automatically adjust color, contrast, and brightness based on your environment to prevent photos from looking washed out or dull.
4. Experiment with Lighting and Focus:
Tap the screen to set your focus and manually slide the brightness icon right next to the focus square to fine-tune exposure before snapping your photo.
We hope these adjustments help elevate your photography experience and bring out the stunning quality your S24 Ultra is capable of.
