Smart Switch stuck

Smart switch first should compile everything that needs to be backed up from the phone to a temp location on the phone. It will then proceed to upload that content to Samsung Cloud or Local Storage via the USB C port.

If you stop it half way, I'm not sure it will let you continue from where it left of as it will want to complete another backup of any changes made since the last attempt and upload it again.

The 1st initial backup can take ages depending on how much is on your phone to backup. The one after that takes quick as it only backs up changes.

While the process can pick up where it left off, I'd recommend starting the process over again to avoid any files getting corrupted in the process. This could cause more issues further down the line.

If you use a cable to complete the Smart Switch process, it will significantly reduce the time.
