Trying to begin use of Tab 3 pruchased used. No sim card but signed to Wifi Seems to work okay at first but... Google sign-in just won't proceed beyond the point of entering existing account user name. Tried it several times. There was a message sent to mobile phone asking to verify we were trying to sign in on a new device. Answered positivel and the Tab 3 just sat there doing nothing.
What should I do/try next?

@JVP6 That device is 13 years old. Sorry, but due to extremely outdated security certificates I doubt that you will be able to successfully log into Google or any other secure account.
