Hello Samsung Team & Community,

I am writing to escalate an ongoing, unresolved camera fault on my Samsung Galaxy S24+ that has made my phone unusable for photography for the past 6 to 7 months.

Specific Issue:

When I launch the Camera app, the viewfinder opens for about 1 second, freezes, and immediately crashes with "Warning: Camera Failed."
I have had this issue for over half a year. I waited through multiple monthly system updates hoping an official Samsung patch would fix it, but every update failed to resolve the error.

Service Center Visit & Billing Issues:

Inaccurate Location: The service center’s Google Maps pin was incorrect, making it extremely difficult to locate in person.
Superficial Demonstration: The technician reflashed the entire device software and quickly opened the camera once at the counter to show it launched. However, as soon as I arrived home, the exact same issue returned immediately (opens for 1 second, then crashes with "Camera Failed").
Charged Without an Official Receipt: I was charged ₹580 in cash for this software reinstallation, but the center did not provide an official Samsung tax invoice or system job sheet.
Issue Declared Unresolvable: Despite taking money, the service center ultimately could not provide a permanent fix.

After 6 to 7 months of waiting for updates, flashing the OS, and paying service fees without a working resolution, this experience on a flagship Galaxy S24+ is completely unacceptable. Since a service fee of ₹580 has already been paid for this exact issue, it must be resolved under rework coverage without extra charges.

I request senior support management to:

Investigate why ₹580 was charged without issuing an official Samsung GST invoice or job sheet.
Escalate this case to senior technical support to provide a working, permanent solution.

Thank you,

Ayush Binjola
