So im new to raising a cat she's only 9 months since she showed up on my door step and already has kittens. How do I tell if she's being too rough when mouthing her kittens. I don't want to over or under react. I think she's at times too inexperienced and may hurt them out of frustration or stress.

She's a mother cat. She knows what she's doing. What seems rough to you is teaching and stimulation.

She's adorable, but should be male. Gingers are 98 x out of 100 male.

Male torties and calicos are very rare and are usually sterile. It's not rare for orange cats to be female, but majority are male

From what ive read online it says its very rare for a cat to have her colorshade and be female. Im not too sure about fact checking it and im really honestly like this my first time as a cat owner. Would love to know more and probably be a good investment of time to dig into understanding more so i can provide the best educated care for her but ive been moving and pregnant and everything eles in the world has happened since I got her 9 months ago so I haven't had availability to.

Yeah and she had 2 females and 2 males. It's so funny 2 look like mom and 2 look like dad. Both one of each color and each gender so I thought it was cool she had an addional female that was orange ginger color. She's unniqe I look it up I think she's Asia cause she has spots like a cheata on her side and stripes on her tail and legs but both the spots and stripes I thought was very unique patter. Horrible picture and its of her early pregnancy when she was walking weird that's how I noticed her being pregnant . Will try to post a better one. But the pattern i thought was lil different than a tabby or whatever
