Samsung Sketch to Image (One UI 6.1.1, approximately 2024) let me draw a sketch, pick a style (3D cartoon, watercolor, etc.), and generate multiple faithful renders with no prompt. It's been replaced by Creative Studio which is not at all faithful to my original sketch. Furthermore, it refuses to render people, even from a cartoon or stick figure, and worse, it often ignores my prompt to remove backgrounds or change colors, generating the same generic-looking image repeatedly.
I used the old sketch to image for my own enjoyment/private use only, to spruce up my journal pages, notes, stickers, and screen printings. I'm old and easily confused. I liked it because it was one button easy, free, i could do as many renders as i wanted, and it gave awesome results that felt like my own if I only had a bit more style and talent. If anybody knows, will it be coming back, or is there another way i can get those same effects? I miss the pop art and puffy 3-d cartoon styles especially.

Thanks for the quick reply! It is certainly an alternative, but it doesn't seem to come close to what sketch to image did, unfortunately. I guess i really just want that old functionality back, or as close to it as i can get. I'm not very good at prompting.

Open your drawing in gallery > Click Galaxy AI button at bottom screen > Click Style: 3D cartoon/watercolor > Apply.

opening your drawing on screen then activating Gemini assistant overlay with power button or voice, you can circle your drawing which will attach it to gemini - then tap the mic button and you can speak as naturally and improper as you'd like, telling it exactly what you want.
No typing, no complex prompting, just circle and say "i want this". It will produce exactly what sketch to image could.
I know its not ideally what you want, but the results are identical if not better, and faster.
