Samsung Needs to come clean and step up to a significant power issue on their 77" Class S95D Series OLED 4K Glare-Free Smart Tizen TV (2024), model QN77S95DAFXZA.

This is a $3,500 Television in 15 months I have had 3 power failures!! It is a common problem amongst owners. So  Samsung needs to do the right thing and either recall the TV admitting their reliability deficiencies, develop a solution, extend warranty for 10+ years for this defect.

it would be extremely poor integrity with brand degradation for them to continue to do nothing for the owners who are beyond their 1 year warranty and are faced with large costs to repair after the original cost of the TV. Even then with no assurance that it won’t happen again!!

You expect a 10 year warranty because you're having a issue

      Yes, other owners of the
have reported frequent power failures, with many specifically citing a "dead" unit that refuses to turn on even after multiple board replacements.

      • Power Board Failure: Numerous users have described the 77-inch model as having a common defect where the power-supply board (PSB) fails prematurely. Some owners have had the board replaced only for it to fail again months later.

Yes, and we call it a recall.

Who wants to pay $3000 for a TV that fails 3 months after the warranty expires?

I had my first board replaced at 4 months old.  Second board just died when I went to turn the tv on again tonight.  Did you have any luck with Samsung calling this a recall issue?  Or even paying for the cost of the part for you?

I am super concerned about what is happening here !

we just and the same issue ...TV just stopped working.  this was sourced in November 2024  .  We have an older Samsung for 10 years that is amazing this the reason we are repeat customers. the old TV is being used as a back up hoping the SD95 will get repaired  .this High end TV was nearly 4K with tax and installation .... for it  going dark less than 2 years is nonsense and criminal we sourced TV our from ABT in Illinois  they are coming out in a weeks to review service fee is 239.00 and from what we have seen we thing Samsung has a serious issues here and other posts .  they need to be proactive  and start preparing  long term remedy.

we loved the TV when it was working now after reading the reviews  highly unlikely to source Samsung again unless we can get this fixed .
