I  know the H5000F is just a 720p TV, but would a Roku device connected to the HDMI be able to get 1080p?

      Hello userpvBIENzK3l,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us. We'd be happy to determine whether this option is available for your specific TV.

Have you reviewed the compatibility requirements for the Roku device and your current TV model?

Once you have accessed the Roku device settings and made the necessary adjustments, if the picture quality or image still does not appear correctly, the issue may be related to a limitation of the TV.

We would be happy to look into this further. However, for the most accurate information regarding Roku device compatibility and settings, we also recommend contacting Roku Support directly.

I have not purchased the TV yet, I was wondering if you connect 1080P devices to the H5000F will it display 1080 or only 720?

Only 720. The TV's resolution isn't going to magically increase. You could plug in a Roku 4K and it would still only display 720p.
