I recently noticed that my WFB63000AW Front Loading washing machine leaks water on the floor when off and the door is open.  I checked that it was not leaking from the intake valve(s) by turning the water off at the wall.  Also, the unit does not leak during a cycle.  It appears to deposit its water on the floor when off and the door is left open (per all recommendations) to prevent mold in the seal. I checked to make sure the unit was level and I believe it is based on everywhere on top of the unit I could get a level on.  I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and figured out how to resolve it. The washer performance seems normal otherwise and I have no error codes indicating any other issues.

Hello there Members_DCRYn94, we would love to assist with this concern to ensure this matter is resolved accordingly.

It is important to remember on front loading washers, noticing some water drip from the door once it has been opened is normal; it's only considered a leak if it drips when the door is closed

With that understanding, yes it is absolutely recommended to check the door gasket as mentioned by @AAbbott however from what you've stated it appears to be condensation.

We have this article https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001007/ for you to review to be as accurate as possible with properly addressing the leaking concern and the next necessary steps if needed.

Have you made sure to clean out the gasket after each load before leaving the door open.  The gasket could be retaining water from the load and then leaking when the door is left open.  You would be surprised at the muck that gets stuck in the gasket - pet hair, lint, water - none of which is a defect, it was designed to catch this stuff.  You can clean it out after each load, or you can put a mat under the door to collect the drips.

      Hi,
I ran into something very similar with a front-load washer.

Since it only leaks when the machine is off and the door is left open—but not during a wash cycle—it probably isn't the inlet valve or a major tub leak. One thing to check is the drain pump filter area. If there's debris in the filter or the filter cap isn't fully tightened, a small amount of trapped water can slowly make its way onto the floor after the cycle has finished.

I'd also inspect the rubber door boot carefully. Sometimes water collects in the folds of the gasket and, if the washer is even slightly out of level or the drain holes in the gasket are clogged with lint or debris, that water can eventually drip onto the floor when the door is left open.

      A few things I'd check:

      • Clean the drain pump filter and make sure it's sealed properly.

      • Inspect and clean the drain holes in the door gasket.

      • Verify the drain hose is installed correctly and isn't partially blocked.

      • Dry the door seal completely after a cycle and see if the leak still occurs.

If the leak continues after those checks, it could be a small internal leak that's only noticeable once the machine has been sitting for a while. At that point, I'd recommend having Samsung inspect it, especially if the washer is still under warranty.

Hopefully it's something simple like a clogged gasket drain or pump filter rather than a more serious issue.
